

Build Season Week 3
Crawling back from our emotional overdose that was last week, we’re back in action! Armed with an overflowing surge of energy, and a sense of dread over the looming deadlines, we’re in non-stop motion. Kicking things off with the marketing team, they’ve been pumping out project after project. Ellie is using her creative abilities to design jaw-dropping swag for the team, and Loresa (that’s me!) has been hard at work creating a new surprise for the Faces of Engineering campaig


Build Season Week 2
Week two has left us as quickly as it came, leaving us with only four more weeks to realize our ideas and make them reality. It’s been near non-stop motion in our classroom as we frantically rush (and trip over each other) to start conceptualizing the robot of the year. Our programming team finished the drive code they plan to use on our old test robot, and are currently collaborating with the electrical team to make headway with sensor programming. Kick-off & Build Season Week 1
Blast off! Build season has officially begun as of last Saturday with an out-of-this-world kickoff. Our team, along with the Northport Mustangs, team 6076, and Omak Pioneer Robotics, team 7803, all watched the live video feed of the 2019 FIRST Robotics Competition reveal. This year’s theme? Destination: Deep Space, a race to repair and refuel rockets and cargo bays; while reaching the safety of the habitat before the next sandstorm hits. Watch the video HERE! The three teams
