Canine Dine Night
SOLD! Our annual Canine Dine Auction Night was a major success in every sense of the word. The ongoing support from our sponsors and community members is truly humbling.
Our team members were hard at work serving and socializing with all those who came. Lots of time and effort went into prepping for the event. Most of the presentations were prepared outside of class time. Many parents of students and team alumni volunteered in the kitchen, helped set up the auction/silent auction, greeted guests, and acted as cashiers.
The team leads (Jessica, Preston, Hunter, and Paiton) introduced their roles and the members in their teams. Team members Lane, Lauren, and Jenae presented about First Lego League, finances and fundraising, and community service. . Boise Cascades's Lathe Operator Seth Morris talked about the partnership with the team to create a tool to make his job safer and more efficient. Regional Controller Seth Hopper, suprised the team with a generous donation. We were floored!
Our long standing connection is one we cherish dearly, and we can't thank Boise enough for the help they give our team.
Going, going, GONE! The auction items were a huge hit, and we thank everyone who brought in something for the night. The auction wouldn't have been as big of a success as it was without the generosity of the donors, our familes, and our community members.
We enjoyed talking to and serving everyone who came, and hope you all look forward to watching us in the upcoming design, build, and competion season.
