Public Speaking
We presented to the Chewelah Chamber of Commerce on July 21st. We gave an overview of the FIRST Robotics program, its impact on team members and the community, and the scholarship opportunities available. We shared about our outreach program, Faces of Engineering, which is geared to encourage girls into STEM programs and careers.
We also explained how the team is self-funded through donations to the 501(c)(3) as well as the annual autumn dinner auction. Several members of the chamber offered to donate items to the auction!
